Can you say what AI does for your users in one sentence?

Every second startup I talk to wants to “add AI” to their product.

Only about 1 in 5 can tell me what AI would actually do for their users.

Not for their pitch deck.
Not for their investor update.
For their users.

If you can’t describe the user problem AI solves in one sentence, you’re not ready to build it yet. That’s not a criticism.
That’s the most expensive mistake I see founders make right now.

The best AI features I’ve built started with a founder saying something like: "my users spend 20 minutes building a form manually every single time." That’s specific. That’s measurable. That’s worth automating.

The worst requests start with: "our competitors launched an AI feature."

That’s not a product decision. That’s a panic decision.

And panic decisions are what The Rebuild Tax feeds on.

Send me your prototype’s link.

I read every message the same day. Then twenty minutes on a call about what breaks first.
